The Leaves are starting to turn, the days are getting shorter, the air is cool and crisp, and target put out the pumpkin spice creamer! Fall has arrived!! That means it's time for my fall fashion review! I have been picking my top obsessions over the last few months to share with you! So get excited with me!!The boots, the jackets, the hats, and the fur!! (faux of course) It's no secret fall is by far my favorite fashion season! I have been anxiously awaiting the temp to drop for no other reason besides my need to pull out these items. I am excited to add a few of these new trends I'm obsessing about as well! I have spent months pouring over fashion magazines, reading articles and reviews online, watching all of the fall fashion shows, and I finally have my top obsessions! You shouldn't need to buy as much this year either! With so many brand new trends that popped up last year, they are still going strong. Hang on to your leather leggings and sheer tops! With out further adieu.. here is what I am obsessed with for this fall! Just a few of my top fall obsession for this year above! I get weak in the knees for hats and coats! I love fall!! Capes. Less Batman more European chicLets start this review with a bang, this by far besides leather leggings is my top obsession for this fall. You will be sure to find me wearing all different sizes and colors and textures! It just adds such an element of luxury and sophistication to any look! Pair with some cute leather cloves and an amazing hat and you have a look that screams I HAVE ARRIVED, when you walk into a building. (usually the look I'm going for) Not as obnoxious as I? No worries! You can still rock this look, just keep it simple! A solid color and minimal accessories will keep it classic and simple! I can't wait to add to my collection! Amazing!! ![]() H & M Cape - $99 Falls hot color is RED It also just happens to be my favorite color! Red is hot not just for clothing but for hair and makeup! Coppers and rich reds are all over current hair /makeup collections! So naturally. Or not : ) I had to go back to a bold red tint. This does make it a little harder to rock the bold hue in clothes, so it's a good thing I wear all black everyday! The biggest dress trend that I'm in love with is the sleek, fitted, long sleeve sheath dress! It's perfect for fall when your arms are always cold! I think this look is chic and very fashion forward, something easy that anyone could rock and feel glam in! Moving along to my next trend obsession for this fall. Mixing "wild" prints and textures. This is one of my favorite styling trends this fall! Mixing Fur, animal print, and leather! Darker colors look best. How chic are these looks! Pick up some leather leggings and a fur vest asap!! OBSESSED!!!! Cold weather Bo Ho Chic So I totally rock the summer bo ho chic look, my summers night looks often include a long maxi dress and long wavy hair with Hippie chic accessories. But when fall/winter comes I shelf that style side of me from lack of fall bo ho chic choices. Well no more! This season is full of looks that will let you embrace your inner hippies chick and have you lifting your fingers in a peace sign in every photo. It's a fun look to rock! Try it out!! Quilted pieces Whether done in a folky, sporty or moto-inspired way, I'm all about the quilted trend for fall. My favorite quilted find on shelves now: A quilted fitted moto jacket! Three words: wardrobe game-changer I love all 3 handbag trends for fall, but my fav has to be the portfolio clutch. It's bigger so it can actually accommodate more than a lipstick and your phone! It' makes any look, day or evening look flawlessly chic! Hair and makeup hot trends..straight from the runway!Va-Va-Volume Sometimes more is more. (a lot of times in my opinion) At Marc by Marc Jacobs they pin-curled models’ hair, allowed the shape to set, then back-brushed through each spiral with a boar bristle brush. The effect? Big sexy hair! It’s a little crazy! But I Love it!!! The faux bang If you are anything like me, you love the look of a full bang (or fringe) but don't want the commitment. Hey, I'm a peacock and I need to fly. I can't be held down and caged in by a limited style like a full fringe! Ok, so maybe you're not that dramatically passionate about not committing to fridge, but you get where I'm coming from, yes? This fall trend is perfect for us! It gives a look of a heavy shawhooped bang without the scare of the shears! Just part dramatically over to one side, back comb, spray and shawhoop it over and secure with a bobby pin! Love!! Undone Texture There’s something strangely alluring about unfussy hair. I have always been obsessed with this look! I tell people I spend a lot of time just to make it look like I didn't spend much time at all!! To create the look, blow hair dry with a diffuser, gently twisting sections with your fingers for an ever-so-subtle wave. (A brush would have lent too much polish.) Then spray with a fishing spray and ruff up your base a little. It’s an effortless cool. "Finished" Skin The "no make-up" dewy-skinned look has dominated catwalk beauty for a long time but there has been an undeniable shift towards perfect, velvety skin this season. Skin is carefully prepped with foundation before being dusted with a liberal coat of powder. Make-up artists spend five times as long on the skin than the rest of the make-up, so don't mistake this look for bare faced or light makeup. Futuristic Sixties eyes An extension of spring/summer’s Sixties trend, the slew of graphic eyes and pale lips had a rather more futuristic feel this season. - very Twiggy. LOVE it! Bold lips - minimal eyes Something about this trend has that je ne sais quoi (I don't know what) appeal to me. It's just so fresh eyed but still bold and powerful with the lip. It lets your look be fresh and minimal without feeling like you look sickly. Crazy about this! ![]() I hope I inspired you to try some new looks out this fall/winter. Embrace the cold with fashion!! There is nothing better than a fabulous par of boots and a floppy hat to beat the cold weather blues!! Stay fabulous! XO Tressie My Stance on real fur vs faux fur. One of the things that I am very passionate about and felt the need to share with you all, as I'm listing trends with fur and wearing fur in a lot of my pictures. Is that all of my fur I always wear is all Faux fur. (say it like fo fur) it always has been and always will be. I will never ever wear a dead animal on my back. I will not however judge someone who does. I'm just saying for myself, it's just plain disgusting. I actually get a little gaggy when I see one, let alone touch or wear one. If you are on the fence in how you feel about it. Please take the time and watch this video. You won't want to wear fur anymore. I warn you...I have watched this several times and it still makes me queasy!
