You definitely won't scare anyone with this costume. Great option for a family friendly event or if you just want a cute look instead of the typical bloody skeletons you will see everywhere.
Wear a plaid top, jeans, and a floppy hat, and paint your face to complete the look. To easy! To take it to another level, get some straw from the craft section and have some strands coming out of your hat, shirt and boots.
Stick toy worms (or in a bind gummy worms) in your hair and paint on some dramatic eye makeup to turn into the monstrous Medusa.. rock a gold dress if you have one but any LBD will do.

All You Need Is Eyeliner, Red Lipstick, & Colored Hairspray (optional) )
Get creative! Carefully draw black lines around your lips, brows, and nose to look like a 2-D character.
Leave it at that or Jazz it up a bit with cool nails. Your wardrobe and accessories can be in any character you want. Now is the time to bust out your vintage fun stuff you don't get to rock on the daily! Really anything goes.
A fun and easy costume idea is to go as your fav super hero/alter ego. It's just a quick stop at Target (or wherever they have graphic tees) on your way home if you don't already have one.
Rock the super hero tee under the secret identity outfit. Easy. Chic. And I promise you will totally be the coolest (and most comfortable) Superman there.
When all else fails..... there is nothing better than a mysterious hauntingly beautiful/handsome........ (what are you suppose to be?) Vampire, Witch...any of those. Just take a long black dress or black velvet blazer and black dress pants add some spider webbed fabric (or not, you can rock it solo)
Powder your face pale white, add dramatic contour and a dark red lip. Done. When people ask what you are say, guess! Then whatever they guess say, "wow! great job! You got it!" Then hope people compare notes at the end of the night! They will either think you're A. Hilarious or B. Crazy. Either way, it's entertaining and you look awesome. It's a win win.
